- On February 13, 2021, the Cotton and Cashew Council of Ivory Coast (CCA) officially announced the minimum price for crop 2021, as follows:
• Buying floor price of farmers (farm gate): 305 CFA / kg (about 565 usd / ton)
• Floor price at local warehouse: 330 CFA / kg (about 611 usd / ton)
• Floor price at the warehouse of the local exporter: 374 CFA / kg (about 693 USD / ton)
• Floor price at the factory warehouse: 359 CFA / kg (about 665 usd / ton)
• Floor price at port warehouse: 389 CFA / kg (about 720 usd / ton)
- Reference rate: 1 USD = 540 CFA
- It is expected that February 16, 2021, CCA will continue to publish all domestic and export duties and the trucks will be allowed to be transported to Abidjan from 18 February 2020.
